1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing heavy-duty-electric.com or scheduling a service with Heavy Duty Electric Auto & Trailers, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you are prohibited from using our services.
2. Services Provided
We provide mobile diagnostic, electrical, and mechanical repair services for heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and automobiles. We aim to provide accurate diagnostics and quality repairs; however, due to the nature of mechanical work, we cannot guarantee that every issue can be resolved on-site.
3. Mobile Service Policies
Service Call Fee:
A non-refundable service call/diagnostic fee is charged for us to travel to your location and diagnose the vehicle. This fee applies even if you choose not to proceed with the recommended repairs.
Safe Working Environment: The customer must ensure the vehicle is in a safe, accessible location (e.g., flat ground, away from high-speed traffic if possible). We reserve the right to refuse service if the location is deemed unsafe for our technicians.
Cancellations:
We require at least 2 hours' notice for cancellations. Failure to provide notice may result in a cancellation fee equal to the Service Call Fee.
4. Payment Terms
Payment is due immediately upon completion of the service.
We accept cash, credit cards, and approved fleet checks.
Parts ordered specifically for your repair may require a deposit upfront.
Vehicles or trailers may not be released or marked as "ready" until payment is made in full.
5. Warranties and Limitation of Liability
Workmanship Warranty:
We provide a limited warranty on our labor for a period of 30 days from the date of service. This warranty covers the specific repair performed and does not cover new issues or pre-existing conditions.
Parts Warranty: Parts are subject to the manufacturer’s warranty. We do not manufacture parts and are not liable for part defects.
Limitation of Liability:
Heavy Duty Electric Auto & Trailers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our services, including but not limited to loss of income, towing fees, or cargo delays.
6. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and defined following the laws of the State of Maryland. Heavy Duty Electric Auto & Trailers and yourself irrevocably consent that the courts of Maryland shall have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any dispute which may arise in connection with these terms.
